Peace Action Bay Ridge was formed to put our citizenship to work by advocating for the peace issues of our time in the Bay Ridge Area, including banning nuclear weapons, ending the middle east wars, stopping the use of depleted uranium on military weapons and keeping our National Guard home to protect us.  Our members live and work in the Bay Ridge Community and share common interests: to speak out against the wars in the Middle East, the loss of innocent lives, and the need to promote a sane foreign policy.  We work locally on peace initiatives, bringing our views to the attention of the public and our local elected officials.  Peace Action Bay Ridge welcomes the participation of all Bay Ridge residents who wish to join together to promote legislation to bring our troops home and to petition our officials to stand up for peace.
